How to test for callbacks in nulled scripts

Sometimes nulled doesn't mean nulled, and code still sends callbacks which can get you kicked off your server for running nulled scripts. One way that I test for call backs or any data being sent back to the authors is to setup apache, php, mysql on my local machine windows, or linux doesn't matter. I unplug my router to disconnect from the net. Then i'll run Ethereal and log all packets incoming/outgoing etc. I begin a local install of the script I plan to use live on the net. During each step of the installation im monitoring the real time output of the packets to see if at any step was data sent anyplace it's not supposed to. After the install i'll double check the log file of ethereal, once satisfied the script was properly nulled it can be setup online. I'm not the best php coder so this is my method.
*** Due to trademark issues, development under the name Ethereal has ceased and has
continued at http://www.wireshark.org. ***
