Description

Donkey Kong 64 is, put simply, Banjo Kazooie with Donkey Kong,
and his friends from the Donkey Kong Country games. However it
isn"t just a straight clone of Banjo Kazooie. There are many
features that separate them, and show that Rare put a lot of
effort into it. Features like being able to change characters,
different weapons for each character, each character with their
own strengths and weaknesses, etc.

The idea is similar to about every other platformer, with some
"light" puzzles in to mix up the gameplay. Run around the various
levels, jumping, swimming, and climbing where needed, to get your
golden bananas back with K. Rool has stolen. And, of course, Rare
show off their 3D engine, making the game somewhat more difficult
than the old 2D "run from left to right" games.
